The EdLaw team is a committed and compassionate group of special education lawyers. Our attorneys meet with new clients and help parents find meaningful educational programs and opportunities for their children. We works closely with educational consultants, neuropsychologists, evaluators and educational professionals and our knowledge of existing schools, programs and services in order to effectively guide parents, in what can otherwise be an overwhelming process.
Karen Hewes graduated from Northeastern University, Magna Cum Laude, and Suffolk University Law School. Karen is admitted in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Greg Van Buiten graduated from the University of Maryland and the University of Maryland School of Law. After relocating to beautiful New England, he was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 1982 and the New Hampshire Bar in 1987.
Luke graduated from Colby College and University of New Hampshire Law School. Luke is licensed to practice in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
Theresa earned an undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University, her masters in history from Florida Atlantic University and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University. She is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and Florida.
Meagan received her bachelors degree from Smith College and her law degree from University of Connecticut School of Law. She has worked in Connecticut and New Hampshire, defending and supporting at-risk youth and children with special needs.
